This guide explains how plumbing companies in Sherwood Park can rank on Google without paying $3,000/month to marketing agencies. After 30+ years building businesses across three countries, including running a business magazine for 10 years that helped every type of business from plumbers to restaurants get found, here’s what actually brings in emergency calls when the competition is one click away.
Look, I started a trade business with borrowed equipment. I know what it’s like when it’s 11 PM, someone’s basement is flooding in Sherwood Park, and they Google “emergency plumber near me”, and you don’t show up.
The franchise guys (Mr. Rooter, Roto-Rooter) outspend you on ads. HomeStars dominates organic rankings. And most SEO agencies charge $3,000+/month for services you can’t afford.
Here’s the reality: you don’t need an agency. You need a system.
After 30+ years building businesses (including losing everything in 2008 and rebuilding in Canada from zero), I’ve figured out what really brings in plumbing leads. Not theory. Not “brand awareness.” Just phone calls from people who need their toilet fixed now.
I spent 10 years running a bilingual business magazine in Spain, helping every type of business you can imagine, plumbers, electricians, restaurants, lawyers, dentists, get found by customers. That’s when I learned something important: every business has the same core problem. You’re invisible to the people who need you.
The plumber in Valencia had the same problem as the plumber in Sherwood Park: great at the work, terrible at being found.
This guide covers the exact system that works for service businesses in Sherwood Park, whether you’re competing with franchises on Wye Road or trying to steal customers from the big guys on Baseline Road.
Why Most Sherwood Park Plumbers Stay Invisible Online

Independent plumbers in Sherwood Park can outshine national brands by mastering local SEO instead of overspending on ads.
The competition isn’t fair. Let’s be honest about that upfront.
Franchise plumbers (Mr. Rooter, Roto-Rooter) spend $5,000+/month on Google Ads. They’ve got corporate marketing teams, national brand recognition, and budgets you can’t touch.
HomeStars dominates organic rankings for “plumber Sherwood Park” because they’ve spent a decade building authority and backlinks.
Aggregator sites (HomeAdvisor, Angi) outrank independent plumbers because they’re massive platforms with thousands of pages.
But here’s what they don’t tell you: Google’s local algorithm prioritises proximity and relevance.
That means a well-optimised independent plumber in Sherwood Park can outrank franchises in local pack results, the top 3 map listings that show up when someone searches on their phone.
You just need to do the work the franchises aren’t doing. And honestly? Most of them are lazy about local SEO because they rely on ad spend.
That’s your advantage.
The 5 Things That Honestly Bring in Plumbing Leads in Sherwood Park
1. Google Business Profile Optimisation (The Foundation)
When someone’s water heater bursts at 2 AM in Broadmoor, they’re not reading blog posts or comparing your credentials. They’re Googling “emergency plumber Sherwood Park” on their phone, looking at the map results, and calling whoever shows up first.
If your Google Business Profile isn’t optimised, you’re invisible in that moment. And that moment is when people actually spend money.
Here’s what to do today:
First, claim your profile if you haven’t already. Go to google.com/business and follow the verification process. Google have a few ways they like to verify you. The old way was to mail you a postcard with a code. Yes, it’s old-school. Yes, you have to do it. Nowadays, they ask you to do a video verification process, more of a pain but pretty straightforward.
Once verified, fill out everything, and I mean everything. Business name, address, phone number, website, hours. If you do emergency calls, enable “Open 24 hours.” Don’t leave this field blank, thinking people will figure it out. They won’t.
For service areas, list every Sherwood Park neighbourhood you cover: Broadmoor, Clover Bar, Lakeland Ridge, Wills Estate, Westboro, Maple Ridge, Summerwood. Google uses this to determine when to show you in local searches.
Categories matter more than most people realise. Your primary category should be “Plumber.” Add secondary categories like “Emergency plumber service,” “Drain cleaning service,” and “Water heater repair service.” These help Google understand what you actually do.
Now for photos. Upload at least 15 photos. Your truck with your logo visible. Your team in action (not stock photos—real pictures of your actual crew). Before and after shots of the work you’ve done. Happy customers if they’ll let you take their picture.
Google prioritises businesses with lots of recent photos. It signals you’re active and legitimate.
Reviews are critical, more critical than most plumbers realise.
Your goal should be at least 25 reviews to be competitive in Sherwood Park. To rank in the top 3 local pack results, you’ll want 40-50. To dominate the market, aim for 100+.
Here’s how to get them: text your last 10 happy customers today. Don’t overthink it. “Hey [Name], it’s [Your Name] from [Company]. If you were happy with our work, we’d really appreciate a Google review. Here’s the link: [your Google review link]. Thanks!”
About 30% will leave one. That’s normal. Send one gentle follow-up in 3 days if they don’t. Then let it go.
When reviews come in, good or bad, respond within 24 hours. For good reviews: “Thanks [Name]! We’re glad we could help with [specific issue]. If you ever need plumbing help again, just call.” For bad reviews: “I’m sorry we didn’t meet expectations on [issue]. I’d like to make this right. Please call me directly at [number].”
Never argue publicly. Ever. You’ll lose even if you’re right.
Sherwood Park-specific tip: During winter (November-March), post photos of frozen pipe repairs every week. Searches spike for “frozen pipes Sherwood Park” and “emergency plumber frozen pipes”, and Google prioritises businesses with recent activity in their profiles.
2. Website Basics That Work (Mobile-First, Fast, Emergency-Focused)

When a customer’s basement is flooding, they don’t need fancy design. They need a fast-loading site with a big click-to-call button.
Your website doesn’t need to win design awards. It needs to work when someone’s standing in 2 inches of water at 3 AM.
Here’s what that honestly means:
When someone lands on your site, especially on their phone, they’re looking for one thing: a phone number they can call right now. Not your company history. Not your mission statement. Not a beautiful photo gallery.
A phone number.
That means you need a click-to-call button at the top of every page. Big. Obvious. Impossible to miss. On mobile, it should be a tappable button that dials your number immediately. Not buried in a menu. Not hidden on a “Contact Us” page. Right there at the top.
If you do emergency work, say so. Don’t make people guess. “24/7 Emergency Plumber Sherwood Park” tells them exactly what they need to know in three seconds.
Your site needs to load in under 3 seconds. When someone’s basement is flooding, they won’t wait for your fancy animations or hero video to load, they’ll hit the back button and call the next result.
Use Google’s PageSpeed Insights tool to check your speed. If you’re over 3 seconds, compress your images, remove unnecessary plugins, and consider upgrading your hosting. Speed matters more than design.
List your service areas clearly. “Serving Sherwood Park, including Broadmoor, Clover Bar, Summerwood, and Wills Estate” takes five seconds to write and answers the question before they bounce to a competitor.
Show your reviews. Embed your Google reviews or add testimonials from real customers. People trust other customers more than they trust you. Give them the social proof they need to pick up the phone.
What you DON’T need:
You don’t need fancy animations or parallax scrolling effects. They slow your site down and add nothing to conversion rates.
You don’t need a 500-word “About Us” story on your homepage. Save the detailed history for a separate page. Homepage = phone number and services.
You don’t need stock photos of generic plumbers from Shutterstock. Use real photos of your actual team. Customers can tell the difference, and Google can too.
Sherwood Park tip: Mention proximity to Edmonton on your service area page: “Serving Sherwood Park and surrounding areas including Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, and Strathcona County.” This helps you rank for broader searches while maintaining your local focus.
3. Content That Ranks in Sherwood Park (Local Keywords + Real Advice)
Most plumbing websites have 5 pages: Home, Services, About, Contact, and Gallery.
That’s not enough to rank for anything competitive.
Google wants to see that you know Sherwood Park plumbing. That you understand the local market, the seasonal issues, the specific problems homeowners face here. That means content, actual, helpful articles that answer real questions.
During my 10 years running a business magazine, I learned something important: businesses that publish helpful content consistently always win against businesses that treat their website like a digital brochure.
Here are five blog posts you should write in the next 6 months:
“Do I Need a Permit for Plumbing Work in Strathcona County?”
This is a question every homeowner asks. Write a 1,000-word post explaining when permits are required, how much they cost, who pulls them (you or the homeowner), and what happens if you skip them. Include a FAQ section at the bottom, answering related questions. Target keyword: “plumbing permit Sherwood Park.”
“How Much Does it Cost to Replace a Water Heater in Sherwood Park?”
People searching this are ready to buy. Give them honest pricing ranges: “Tank water heaters typically cost $1,200-$2,500 installed. Tankless units run $2,500-$4,500. Here’s what affects the price…” Include factors like unit size, brand, complexity of installation, and permit costs. End with a clear CTA: “Want an exact quote? Call us for a free estimate.”
“Frozen Pipes in Sherwood Park: What to Do Before the Plumber Arrives”
This is seasonal content (November-March) that gets huge search volume during cold snaps. Give genuinely helpful advice: turn off the water main, open faucets to relieve pressure, use a hair dryer on low heat. Then add your emergency CTA: “If the pipe has burst or you can’t locate the freeze, call us 24/7.” Target: “frozen pipes Sherwood Park,” “emergency plumber frozen pipes.”
“Best Time to Replace Your Water Heater in Sherwood Park”
Most people wait until their water heater dies at the worst possible time. Educate them: “Water heaters typically last 8-12 years in Sherwood Park due to our hard water. If yours is over 10 years old and showing these signs [list signs], consider replacing it before it fails.” This positions you as helpful, not pushy, and captures people in the planning stage.
“Why Sherwood Park Homes Have Low Water Pressure (And How to Fix It)”
This is a common local issue. Could be the city supply, old pipes, sediment buildup, pressure regulators. Walk through the possibilities and when each needs a plumber versus DIY. Naturally leads to your services for the issues that need professional help.
Publish one post per month. After 12 months, you’ll have 12 posts covering every common Sherwood Park plumbing question. You’ll outrank 90% of local plumbers who never publish anything.
Each post should be 1,000-1,500 words, include your target keyword naturally (don’t force it), and link to your service pages when relevant. Add an FAQ section at the bottom with schema markup. This helps you show up in “People Also Ask” sections on Google.
4. Reviews & Social Proof (The Trust Factor)

Strong reviews turn browsers into buyers. A few stars can decide who gets the next emergency plumbing call.
Plumbing is high-trust. Someone’s letting you into their home, potentially dealing with thousands of dollars in repairs.
Reviews are how you earn that trust online before you ever shake hands in person.
Think about how you choose a plumber when you need one. You Google “plumber Sherwood Park,” see 3 results in the map pack, and what do you do? You look at the star ratings and review counts.
A plumber with 47 reviews and 4.8 stars gets the call. A plumber with 3 reviews from 2019 gets ignored.
It’s that simple.
Here’s how to get more reviews without being pushy or weird about it:
Ask immediately after the job. Don’t wait a week. Text or email them the same day, while they’re still happy you fixed their problem: “Hey [Name], glad we could help with [specific issue]. If you’re happy with our work, we’d really appreciate a Google review. Here’s the link: [direct link to your review page]. Thanks!” Add a QR code to the back of your business card, with a link to your review section, so easy nowadays, you can make them on Canva.
Make it easy. Don’t make them search for you on Google. Send a direct link to your review page. You can get this from your Google Business Profile dashboard.
Don’t incentivise reviews. It violates Google’s terms of service, and it’s sketchy. “We’ll give you $20 off your next service if you leave a review”, will get your profile suspended if Google catches you.
Follow up gently once. If they don’t leave a review in 3 days, send one reminder: “Hey [Name], just following up on my request for a Google review if you have a minute. No pressure if you’re busy, just appreciate it if you can. Here’s the link again: [link].” Then drop it.
Respond to every review. Good reviews: “Thanks [Name]! We’re glad we could help with [specific issue they mentioned]. If you ever need plumbing help again, just call.” Bad reviews: “I’m sorry we didn’t meet expectations on [issue]. I’d like to make this right. Please call me directly at [number] so we can discuss.”
Never argue publicly. Ever. Even if the customer is completely wrong, arguing makes you look bad to everyone reading. Stay professional, offer to make it right privately, and move on.
Sherwood Park tip: Encourage happy customers to mention their neighbourhood in the review: “These guys came out to Broadmoor at 9 PM and fixed our burst pipe in an hour. Highly recommend!” Geographic keywords in reviews help your local rankings.
5. Lead Capture That Converts (Turn Visitors Into Calls)
You can rank #1 on Google for every plumbing keyword in Sherwood Park, but if your site doesn’t convert visitors into calls, you’re wasting time.
Here’s what converts on plumbing websites:
Phone number everywhere. Header, footer, middle of your service pages, floating button on mobile. Make it impossible not to see your phone number.
Click-to-call on mobile. Most plumbing searches happen on phones. If your phone number isn’t tappable, people will call the next result instead of manually typing your number.
Emergency CTA that creates urgency. “Burst pipe? Backed-up drain? Flooding basement? Call now: (780) 555-1234” works better than “Contact us for plumbing services.” Be specific about the emergency situations you handle.
Simple contact form. Name, phone, brief description of the problem. Don’t ask for their address, preferred appointment times, how they heard about you, or their life story. Every extra field drops your conversion rate by 10-15%.
Free estimate offer. “Free quotes for Sherwood Park homeowners” lowers the barrier to entry. They’re not committing to hire you; they’re just gathering information. Once you’re there in person, you’ll close 60-70% of quotes if you’re good at what you do.
What doesn’t work:
Hiding your phone number is shockingly common. I see websites where you have to click through to a contact page to find the number. In plumbing, that’s business suicide.
Forms with 10 fields. “Name, email, phone, address, city, postal code, type of issue, preferred date, preferred time, how did you hear about us?” By field 7, they’ve left your site.
Generic CTAs like “Contact us for more information.” That doesn’t create any urgency or tell them why they should call you instead of the next plumber.
The Sherwood Park Plumbing Market (What You’re Up Against)
The Competition
National Franchises: Mr. Rooter, Roto-Rooter, Brothers Plumbing
They have corporate ad budgets ($10K+/month). You can’t outspend them on Google Ads or Facebook. Don’t try.
But you CAN outrank them locally with better Google Business Profile optimisation, more reviews from actual Sherwood Park customers, and hyper-local content they’ll never bother creating.
They’ve got generic pages about “plumbing services in Alberta.” You’ve got a detailed article about “frozen pipes in Sherwood Park during January cold snaps.” Google’s algorithm favours specificity for local searches.
Local Independent Plumbers: 20-30 in Sherwood Park
Most have weak or non-existent web presence. Seriously. Go to Google “plumber Sherwood Park” right now and look at positions 4-10. Half of them have outdated websites, no reviews, or no Google Business Profile at all.
If you just do the basics, optimise your profile, get 25+ reviews, publish some content, you’re automatically in the top 3.
Aggregator Sites: HomeStars, HomeAdvisor, Angi
They rank well, and they do bring leads. But they charge 15-20% commission per lead. If you close a $3,000 job from HomeStars, you just paid them $450-$600.
If you rank yourself, you keep 100% of the profit. Use aggregators as a backup, but build your own SEO presence so you’re not dependent on platforms that can raise prices or change rules anytime.
Seasonal Search Patterns in Sherwood Park

Each season brings new plumbing problems and new search opportunities. Match your SEO to what homeowners actually need that month.
Plumbing isn’t consistent year-round. Search volume and emergency calls follow predictable seasonal patterns:
Winter (November-March): Frozen pipes, furnace-related plumbing issues, water heater failures (cold weather stresses them). This is your busiest season for emergency calls. Publish your “frozen pipes” content in October, before searches spike.
Spring (April-May): Sump pump installations and repairs (flooding season), outdoor faucet repairs (winter damage), spring cleaning and home prep. Publish “sump pump” and “spring plumbing maintenance” content in March.
Summer (June-August): Sprinkler system repairs, general maintenance, water heater replacements (people tackle big projects when weather’s good). Slower season for emergencies, good for planned work.
Fall (September-October): Pre-winter inspections, water heater replacements (before winter hits), winterisation services. Publish “prepare your plumbing for winter” content in September.
Your content strategy should match these seasons. Don’t publish a “frozen pipes” article in July; publish it in October so it’s indexed and ranking when searches spike in December.
Sherwood Park Neighbourhoods to Target
High-value areas (newer homes, higher income): Broadmoor, Summerwood, Lakeland Ridge, Emerald Hills. These neighbourhoods tend to spend more on quality work and upgrades rather than the cheapest fixes.
Established areas (older homes, more repairs): Wills Estate, Westboro, Clover Bar. These homes are 20-40 years old\, lots of ongoing maintenance needs, aging pipes, water heater replacements.
Your Google Business Profile service area should include all of these. List them specifically so Google knows exactly where you work.
The 10-Minute Daily SEO Routine for Plumbers

Ten focused minutes each morning can build months of SEO momentum for your plumbing business.
You don’t have time for 2-hour SEO sessions. You’re running a business, managing a crew, and handling emergency calls at 11 PM.
But you can spare 10 minutes before your first job of the day.
Here’s what to do every morning:
Check Google Business Profile (3 minutes): Any new reviews? Respond immediately, even just “Thanks for the review, [Name]!” Any questions from potential customers? Answer them. These Q&As show up in your profile and help with rankings. Post one quick update, photo from yesterday’s job, seasonal tip, anything that shows you’re active.
Check Google Search Console (3 minutes): Look at queries from the last 7 days. Any new keywords ranking positions 4-10? These are low-hanging fruit. Write a blog post targeting those terms, and you’ll jump to page 1. Any clicks from unexpected queries? Shows you what people are actually searching when they find you.
Update one piece of content (4 minutes): Go into an old blog post. Add a link to a newer post or service page. Update a stat or date to keep it fresh. Fix a typo if you spot one. Google rewards sites that regularly update content; it signals you’re maintaining quality.
That’s it. 10 minutes. Every weekday.
After 6 months, you’ll have:
- 180+ Google Business Profile posts (shows consistent activity)
- Keyword data guiding your content strategy (write about what people honestly search)
- Better internal linking structure (helps all your pages rank)
- Fresh content signals (Google prioritises recently updated sites)
Consistency beats intensity. Ten minutes daily beats 5 hours once a month.
FAQ: SEO for Plumbers in Sherwood Park
How much does SEO cost for plumbers in Sherwood Park?
DIY SEO using this guide: $0-$200/month. Google Business Profile is free. Optional paid tools like Yoast SEO or Ahrefs start at $50-100/month, but aren’t necessary when you’re starting.
Local SEO agency: $1,500-$5,000/month. You’re paying for their time, tools, and expertise.
Freelancer: $500-$2,000/month depending on scope.
My recommendation: Start DIY. If you’re doing $50K+/month in revenue and genuinely don’t have time, hire help. But most plumbers can handle the basics themselves with the right system.
Do plumbers need SEO or can I just rely on HomeStars?
HomeStars is fine for leads. But you’re paying 15-20% commission per lead, competing with 10 other plumbers on the same platform, and you don’t control anything. They can raise prices, change rules, or shut down tomorrow.
Ranking on Google yourself means you keep 100% of the profit, no competition (it’s your website), and you control everything.
Use HomeStars as a backup. Build your own SEO presence as your primary lead source.
How long does plumbing SEO take in Sherwood Park?
Google Business Profile optimisation: 1-3 months to see results. This is the fastest win.
Website + content strategy: 3-6 months for consistent rankings on competitive terms.
Full authority (30+ blog posts, 50+ reviews, strong backlinks): 12-18 months.
SEO is not instant. Anyone who promises page 1 rankings in 30 days is lying or using black hat tactics that’ll get you penalised.
But once it’s working, leads come in consistently without ongoing ad spend. That’s the trade-off.
Can I do SEO myself or do I need an agency?
You can 100% do this yourself if you’re willing to spend 10-20 minutes per day, follow a system, and stay consistent for 6-12 months.
Hire an agency if you’re doing $75K+/month and your time is better spent running the business, you’ve tried DIY for 6 months and aren’t seeing results, or you just hate this stuff and would rather delegate.
Most plumbers can handle DIY SEO for the first 12-18 months, then hire help once revenue justifies the cost.
What’s the best SEO strategy for emergency plumbers in Sherwood Park?
Emergency plumbing is all about speed and visibility when someone’s in crisis mode.
Enable 24/7 hours on your Google Business Profile. Add “Emergency” to your business name or description. Put a huge “EMERGENCY? CALL NOW” button at the top of your website. Write blog posts targeting “emergency plumber Sherwood Park” and “24 hour plumber near me.” Get reviews that specifically mention your emergency service and fast response times.
For emergency services specifically, consider a small Google Ads budget ($500/month) to guarantee you show up at the top instantly while your SEO builds. Emergency calls have high commercial intent; spending $50 to acquire a $2,000 job makes sense.
How do I rank for “plumber near me” in Sherwood Park?
“Near me” searches are 100% location-based. Google uses the searcher’s GPS to show the closest plumbers.
To rank: verify your exact address on Google Business Profile, ensure your Name/Address/Phone (NAP) matches exactly across your website and all directories, set Sherwood Park as your primary service area, and get reviews from local customers that mention the location.
You can’t fake proximity. If you’re actually based in Sherwood Park and optimised correctly, you’ll rank for “near me” searches from Sherwood Park residents.
Should I target Sherwood Park only or also Edmonton?
Both, but prioritise strategically.
Primary focus: Sherwood Park (less competition, easier to dominate).
Secondary focus: Fort Saskatchewan, Strathcona County (nearby, logical service expansion).
Tertiary focus: Edmonton (huge market, but way more competitive).
On your website, have a service area page that says “Serving Sherwood Park, Edmonton, and Strathcona County.” Write some blog posts, Sherwood Park-specific, others broader about the Edmonton area plumbing. On Google Business Profile, set Sherwood Park as the primary location, then list all neighbourhoods you cover, including Edmonton areas if you serve them.
How many Google reviews do I need to rank well?
Minimum: 10 reviews to be competitive.
Competitive: 25-50 reviews to rank in top 3 local pack.
Dominant: 100+ reviews to own the market.
But quality matters more than quantity. Twenty detailed 5-star reviews beat fifty generic “great job” reviews. Recent reviews (last 6 months) matter more than old reviews. Reviews mentioning specific services and locations beat vague praise.
Goal: 3-5 new reviews per month consistently.
What tools do I need for plumbing SEO?
Free tools to start: Google Business Profile (manage your listing), Google Search Console (track rankings and keywords), Google Analytics (track website traffic), Google Keyword Planner (find keywords).
Paid tools if you want them ($50-100/month): Yoast SEO or RankMath (WordPress SEO plugin), Ahrefs or SEMrush (keyword research and competitor analysis), BrightLocal (local SEO tracking).
My recommendation: Start with free tools. Add paid tools once you’re doing $50K+/month in revenue and can justify the expense.
How do I compete with franchise plumbers like Mr. Rooter?
Franchises have brand recognition and ad budgets. But you have advantages they don’t.
You live in Sherwood Park; they’re a national chain. You offer personal service; they have call centres. You’re flexible with pricing and solutions; they have corporate pricing structures. Independent plumbers often have better reviews because of more personal service.
Your SEO strategy: hyper-local content (they have generic national content), Google Business Profile optimisation (they rely on ads), reviews highlighting personal service (“John came out himself at 10 PM and fixed it”).
You won’t outrank them for “plumber Canada,” but you CAN outrank them for “emergency plumber Sherwood Park”, and that’s where the money is.
Get the Complete System (No Monthly Fees, No Agency Nonsense)
Most marketing agencies will charge you $2,000-$5,000 per month to do what I’m about to teach you for $37.
I could charge that too. I currently generate $1M+ monthly for clients, I know what this information is worth.
But here’s the thing: I’ve been the guy wondering if I can afford to spend money on marketing when payroll’s due Friday. I’ve been the guy who lost everything in 2008 and had to start over in Canada with three kids and very little money. I know what it’s like when every dollar counts.
So I took the complete 81-point system, the one that generated $50M+ across multiple businesses in three countries, and broke it into three books you can actually afford.
What you get for $37:
Book 1: The 81-Point SEO Foundation
The complete technical checklist. Google Business Profile optimisation, website basics, content strategy, review systems, local SEO, schema markup. This is the foundation every service business needs. No fluff, no theory, just the checklist that works.
Book 2: Industry-Specific Playbooks
Dedicated chapters for plumbers, electricians, HVAC, restaurants, consultants, and more. Specific keywords for your industry. Content ideas that actually bring in leads. Seasonal strategies that match your business cycles. I spent 10 years running a business magazine, helping every type of business get found. This is everything I learned across hundreds of companies.
Book 3: The Technical Implementation Workbook
Step-by-step walkthroughs with screenshots. Troubleshooting guides for when things don’t work. Tool recommendations (free and paid). Detailed explanations of every technical item in the 81-point checklist. This is for when you’re ready to execute, or when you hand it to someone who’ll do it for you.
Plus: Lifetime Updates
Google changes the rules every few months. Core algorithm updates, local pack changes, and new ranking factors. When they do, you get the updated books automatically. No expiration date. No monthly fees. Buy once, stay current forever.
All three books: $47
That’s one service call. One emergency drain cleaning. One water heater inspection.
And unlike that service call, this system keeps working for you months and years later, bringing in leads while you’re on other jobs, at home with your family, or sleeping.
Get the Complete System for $47
Or if you’d rather just hand this whole thing off to someone who’s done it before and focus on the plumbing work you’re actually good at, email me: peter@marketinggrowthhub.com
I actually answer my emails. Apparently, that’s rare enough now to be worth mentioning.
Why You Should Listen to Me (And Why I Really Understand Your Business)
I’m not a marketing guy who Googled “plumbing SEO tips” and threw together a blog post.
I started a roofing business in London with borrowed ladders and my wife’s car. Built it to 7 crews. Became an NFRC member. Did the major trade shows. Sold it. Then, a timber yard started. Built that and sold it too.
Then I moved to Spain and created the first bilingual magazine for English-Spanish businesses in Valencia and Alicante. That magazine ran for 10 years.
Here’s what mattered about those 10 years: I helped every type of business you can imagine.
Restaurants trying to attract both tourists and locals. Plumbers serving expat communities who didn’t speak Spanish. Electricians, builders, lawyers, accountants, dentists, real estate agents, car mechanics, pool maintenance companies, gardeners, and decorators. If they wanted to reach customers across two languages and two cultures, they came to me.
I learned something important during those 10 years: every business has the same core problem; they’re invisible to the people who need them.
The plumber in Valencia had the same problem as the plumber in Sherwood Park today: great at the work, terrible at being found.
The restaurant owner in Alicante had the same problem as the one in Edmonton: customers walk past their door every day without knowing they exist.
Then 2008 hit. Lost everything. Properties, home and business. The whole lot. You remember the big financial crash that started in the USA with the mortgage crisis, companies just could not afford to advertise anymore, and thousands of people went out of business.
That’s when I moved to Canada with three kids and very little money. Had to start over in a foreign country where I didn’t know anyone and didn’t have a network.
Found a roofing company with zero leads and negative equity. Applied everything I’d learned, the trade experience, the magazine experience, the “I need customers this month or I’m done” desperation, and took them from zero to $5M+ annually.
Now I help other service businesses do the same thing. Currently generating $1M+ monthly for clients across different industries.
Here’s why that matters to you as a plumber in Sherwood Park:
I’ve been the guy with a truck and a phone, hoping it rings.
I’ve been the guy who lost everything and had to rebuild from absolute zero.
I’ve helped hundreds of businesses across every industry you can name get found online.
I’ve done it in three countries, two languages, through recessions and economic crashes.
If it didn’t work when my mortgage depended on it, I don’t teach it.
If it’s a theory from a marketing course, I don’t sell it.
If I haven’t done it myself when everything was on the line, it’s not in my system.
That’s the difference between me and the 23-year-old “SEO expert” who’s never made payroll, never had to choose between Google Ads and feeding their family, never rebuilt a business from nothing in a foreign country.
This stuff works because it had to work. Because when you’re starting over at 45 with three kids in a new country, failure isn’t an option.
